Joshua W. Bonney, 22, of Heislerville died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at Cooper University Hospital in Camden from injuries of a motor vehicle accident on Dec. 9, 2007. Josh was born in Aurora, Colo., and was the son of Wayne R. and Christine M. Langley Bonney.
He had resided in Heislerville the past 20 years. Josh graduated from Maurice River Township School and Millville Senior High School, class of 2003.
He was an HVAC mechanic for CD's Mechanical for the past seven years. Josh enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
He was a demolition derby driver of the 856 car at the Cumberland County Fair.
He won two fan's choice awards in 2006 and won his first, first place finish in a heat contest in 2007.

Surviving are his parents, Wayne R. and Christine M. Bonney; brother, Seth R. Bonney of Heislerville and his girlfriend Sacena Veasey; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Montero of Heislerville; paternal stepgrandfather, Gus Tomlin of West Cape May; his girlfriend, Cindi Martin and her son Nickie of Vineland; aunts and uncles, Ben and Connie Stowman of Delmont, Jeff and Earleen (Riggins) Rents of Pittsgrove, Jose Montero Jr. of Texas, Victoria Montero, Michael and Evey Montero, Marcus Montero all of Heislerville, Janine Taylor of Millville, Butch Thompson of Tennessee, Paul Bonnie Schwegel of Millville, William Bonney of Nebraska, Paul and Georgia Bonney of Millville, Robert Bonney of Heislerville, Tommy Harris of Vineland, Katherine Parker of Hopewell, Bruce Tomlin of Millville, Nancy Newton of West Cape May, and Charles and Barbara Tomlin of Erma; and many cousins and many good friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Heislerville United Methodist Church, Main St., Heislerville.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitations will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Hoffman Funeral Homes, Port Norris and Leesburg.
